My salts always seem to clump together. Is there a way to prevent this?

Hi Carol. Thanks for your question. Clumping in Bath Salts is usually caused by
the presence of moisture. There are a few ways that you can try to get
around this. First of all, make sure the Salts or other additives in
your recipe arent too wet. Some Salts can horde moisture. Dead Sea
Salts are particularly notorious for this. You can dry them out by
placing them on a baking sheet and warming them in the oven on the
lowest setting possible. Another option is to include additives in your
recipe that can help soak up any excess moisture. Dry-Flo and Baking
Soda are too good choices. Some people use a small percentage of
Dendritic Salts for this purpose as well. The last thing to consider
is your packaging. If Bath Salts arent packaged in air tight
containers they can pull in moisture from the air. I hope these tips
lead you in the right direction, Carol. Good luck!

Thanks, Lizzy. These Salt Tubes are one of many new packaging options we are considering adding to our great line of Supplies at FromNatureWithLove.com. We may end up adding them to our main web site, or possibly to some of our Kits. Im glad you like them. Well take that into consideration when we decide whether or not to add them to our line.
