This gorgeous, two layered scrub is colored with all natural Turmeric Powder and Cranberry Fruit Fibers. Many natural herbs and botanicals can be used to create bold colors in handmade skin care products. The variety of colors that can be achieved this way is surprising. Packaging & Usage
I prefer packaging my handmade scrubs in small containers, but this particular scrub would look great in a larger, 4 or 8 oz. PET Jars. You may want to add a preservative to this recipe, especially if you plan on packaging it in large containers.

Will this scrub retain the beautiful color layers if the container gets tossed around in shipping?

You have a great question. With a scrub like this there is a chance of the layers becoming misplaced if the package is shake, turned upside down, or jarred during shipment. However, if you were to pack the jar very tightly it would help to reduce the chances of this happening. Try packing a jar and testing it out at home. Turn the jar upside down, shake it vigorously, and roll it across the counter top. This should give you a little insight into how much change shipping could cause.

Is there something else one can substitute the cranberry fiber with? Also is the tumeric just for coloring purposes?
