Beneficial Blends

Every natural Carrier Oil has its own unique set of beneficial properties or active ingredients.  Some Oils, for example, are rich in antioxidants, while other boast a high amount of Vitamin C.  Blending Oils can be the key to creating truly nourishing skin care products.

FromNatureWithLove.com is proud to announce the addition of two new beneficial Oil Blends to our line of high quality, nutritive Carrier Oils.  Our new, Super Berry Trio, and Veggie Trio Oil Blends do a fabulous job of combining three skin loving Carrier Oils into one easy to use Blend.  These blends are superb for use in massage, masks, body oils, serums, and fresh creams and lotions.  Essential Oils or CO2 Extracts can be added to further enhance these Oil Blends for your particular purpose.

Rich in vitamins A, C, E, and beta carotene, Carrot Seed Oil boasts an impressive amount of nutritive components.  Pumpkin Seed Oil is another super nutritious Vegetable Oil, containing a wide range of vitamins including vitamins A, C, E, and K.  Pumpkin Seed Oil also contains a notable amount of the mineral zinc.  Last, but not least, Broccoli Seed Oil lends its light, non-greasy texture to the mix.  Broccoli Seed Oil is an antioxidant rich triglyceride which is extremely moisturizing.  These three Oils create a deeply nourishing and moisturizing blend that will compliment any oil based skin care formula.

Super Berry Trio Oil Blend
The Super Berry Trio Oil Blend is composed of our three favorite Berry Seed Oils: Blueberry Seed Oil, Red Raspberry Seed Oil, and Cranberry Seed Oil.  Each Oil is a star player, and brings something special to the mix.  Like most Berry Seed Oils, these three Oils each have light, non-greasy textures that moisturize hair and skin with ease.  Blueberry Seed Oil is one of the most potent sources of antioxidants available, making it a key ingredient for anti-aging, and mature skin blends.  Blueberry Seed Oil can help to heal and protect skin by scavenging dangerous free radicals.  Cranberry Seed Oil is another great source of antioxidants. It also contains a unique combination of essential fatty acids that is great for soothing and moisturizing dry, chapped skin.  Red Raspberry Seed Oil, our most popular Berry Seed Oil, boasts an impressive range of benefits.  Red Raspberry Seed Oil is an effective anti-inflammatory and can help to reduce redness and irritation when used on sensitive skin.  This nutritive Oil contains a wealth of antioxidants, and essential fatty acids, and may be able to help reduce sun damage due to its unique chemical structure.  These three nutritive Oils create an incredibly beneficial blend that can be used in a wide range of formulas.  Try adding the Super Berry Trio Oil Blend to hair oils, massage oils, body butters, lip balms, serums, or fresh emulsions!

Chocolate Peppermint Essential Oil

Mint_icon_2 A subtle twist on classic Peppermint, this unique Essential Oil contains a gentle touch of chocolate aroma.  This all natural Essential Oil has been distilled from a special kind of mint that has been grown organically in accordance with USDA Organic Standards.  The aroma of Chocolate Peppermint Essential Oil is a bit softer and smoother than that of most classic Peppermints, making it an excellent choice for perfumery, spa, and skin care applications.  We recommend adding it to formulas containing Cocoa Butter to help highlight the Essential Oil's chocolate note.  Chocolate Peppermint Essential Oil would make a great choice for holiday themed lip balms, bath truffles, and soaps.  As with classic Peppermint, be careful not to use too much, or it can cause an overdose of cooling effects, especially when used in  a bath or directly on the skin.

Neroli Hydrosol

Neroli_blossom Neroli has one of the most desirable natural aromas used in handmade and natural skin care products.  The delicate fruity and floral scent of Neroli is light, fun, and feminine.  Neroli blends beautifully with Vanilla, Ylang Ylang, Rose, or other florals, but can be used alone to add scent to natural products.  Neroli Essential Oil tends to be one of the more expensive oils to work with, though Neroli lovers will tell you that a high quality Neroli Essential Oil is worth every cent.  Aromatherapists use Neroli to promote feelings of  happiness, and relieve depression and anxiety.  In skin care, Neroli can act as a gentle, but effective astringent, helping to balance both hair and skin.

Neroli Hydrosol provides a less expensive avenue to enjoy the heavenly aroma and natural benefits of Neroli.  This delicate Hydrosol can be used as a toner, natural hair and body spritz, or as a nutritive wetting agent for masks and facials.  The aroma of Neroli Hydorosol is decidedly less intense than that of the Essential Oil, making it a pleasure to use as is.  Unlike Essential Oil, Neroli Hydrosol does not need to be diluted before use.  It can be applied directly to the hair and skin, and enjoyed on a regluar basis.  Neroli Hydrosol makes a wonderful body mist spray.  Pour Neroli Hydrosol into a spray bottle and spritz yourself liberally after a shower or bath for a refreshing burst of gentle aroma and skin toning benefit.

Organic Colloidal Oatmeal (Ultrafine)

Oatmeal Powder is an extremely handy ingredient when it comes to natural skin care.  This finely milled powder can help to soothe irritated skin when used in baths, facials, body masks, and soaps.  Oatmeal also makes an excellent base for an all natural cleanser.  When mixed with a nutritive wetting agent, such as fresh milk, plain yogurt, Hydrosol, or pureed fruit, Oatmeal can be used to gently cleanse and exfoliate the skin.

FromNatureWithLove.com is proud to now be carrying USDA Certified Organic, Ultrafine Colloidal Oatmeal.  This ultrafine powder is totally pure, has a very small particle size, and is ready for use in your next organic formulation.  Try combining Organic Colloidal Oatmeal (Ultrafine) with Organic Honey Powder and Organic Milk Powder to create a completely organic milk bath.  You can add aroma therapeutic benefits to this recipe by including one of our Organic Essential Oils. Organic Lavandula Abrialis Essential Oil would be a wonderful choice.

Organic Raspberry Seed Powder

Org_raspberry_seed_powderFinely ground Organic Raspberry Seed Powder makes an excellent exfoliant in natural facials, body scrubs, and soaps.  Organic Raspberry Seeds contain a wealth of beneficial antioxidants, essential fatty acids, and other nutritive components.  Traces of these beneficial components remain within the seed powder, adding benefit, color, and gentle exfoliation to natural skin care formulations.

It is important to use ingredients sourced from organic raspberries when possible because these particular berries tend to be heavily sprayed with chemical pesticides during farming.  FromNatureWithLove.com is proud to offer both Organic Raspberry Seed Powder and Organic Red Raspberry Seed Oil as a totally organic option for cosmetic formulations.

Organic Rosehip Seed Powder makes an excellent exfoliant for facial and gentle body scrubs.  This finely milled seed powder is rich in Vitamin A, or Retinol, a popular vitamin for use in anti-aging formulations due to its ability to rejuvenate the skin and increase collagen production.  Organic Rosehip Seed Powder also contains a wealth of essential fatty acids, including Omega 3 and Omega 6.  This nutrient rich powder can be combined with other Organic Ingredients to create totally organic facials, body scrubs, exfoliation treatments, and more.

Organic Honey Powder

Honey

Another fabulous addition to our growing line of USDA Certified Organic Ingredients, Organic Honey Powder can be used to enhance a wide range of natural skin care treatments and formulas.  Honey possesses natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which make it great for use in senstive, combination, and acne prone skin types.  Organic Honey Powder is water soluble and can be added to the water phase of lotions and soaps, as well as fresh facials and masks.  Organic Honey makes a great main ingredient for fresh cleansers as well.  Try creating a completely Organic Facial Cleanser by combining Organic Honey Powder, Organic Rosehip Seed Powder, Organic Whole Milk Powder, and Organic Carrot Seed and Chamomile Hydrosols.  Add just enough Hydrosol to form a smooth paste and massage it gently onto the skin.  Rinse, and follow with an Organic Toner and Moisturizer.  This fresh cleanser can be stored in the refrigerator between uses and should be made freshly every 4 - 5 days.

Green Coffee Oil

Green_coffee_beans

Green Coffee Oil has a subtle, but unique scent that is crisp, green, and fresh.  Unlike Roasted Coffee Oil, Green Coffee Oil is pressed from the fresh, green beans or seeds of the Coffee Plant.  These small beans are packed with a bounty of beneficial components.  The cold pressed oil yielded from Green Coffee Beans contains high levels of phytosterols, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids.  Like its roasted counterpart, Green Coffee Oil penetrates the skin easily, making it an excellent addition to a wide range of skin care formulas.  Green Coffee Oil can be added to mature and sensitive skin treatments such as creams, serums, and facial masks.  This highly moisturizing oil is also a wonderful choice for body lotions, lip and body balms and butters, bath melts, and more.

Roasted Coffee Oil

Roasted_coffee_beansThe robust aroma of Roasted Coffee Beans has got to be one of my all time favorite things to encounter. Whether walking into a cafe or waking up to a freshly brewed pot of coffee, the immediately recognizable scent of Coffee stirs my appetite and stimulates my senses.

Roasted Coffee Oil is cold pressed from Roasted Coffee Beans, and retains their delicious aroma.  In addition to its incredible aroma, Roasted Coffee Oil boasts a variety of other benefits.  The cold pressed oil contains a high amount of natural antioxidants, making it an excellent choice for mature skin serums and formulations. Rich in Phytosterols, Roasted Coffee Oil can help the skin retain moisture.  Though Roasted Coffee Oil is quite viscous, it penetrates the skin quickly and easily.  This aromatic oil makes an excellent ingredient for use in body lotions, creams, bath products, and more.

Try adding Roasted Coffee Oil to massage bars, bath bombs, body butters, and more.  The rich aroma of Roasted Coffee Oil makes a lovely compliment to Cocoa Butter, Vanilla, and other ingredients with sweet and savory scents.
