very cool! putting a lemon scented soap in a flowery box is a bit of a gamble as well, expectations-wise, but it's a nice concept. thinking this way opens so many possibilities of how packaging and product can play off each other.

I agree. To me, packaging can be as much fun as creating the product.

That's a really interesting point, from both a personal and business perspective. Remember the tahitian vanilla scent? It smelled completely different to each of us.

We're still working on packaging for our jewelry that's "just right," and we have to be really careful not to get carried away by something that's incredibly cute or pretty, but doesn't really reflect what's inside the bag or box.

Actually, Pearl, your comment about the Tahitian Vanilla is what inspired me to write the last two articles! One of the most striking things I have noticed while working at FromNatureWithLove.com was the many different reactions to any given fragrance. Whenever we consider a new fragrance we try to get an opinion from as many people as possible before deciding whether or not to carry it. It usually gives us a big to clue as to how the fragrance will be received by our customers.

Thanks! This is great information. I think this blog is fabulous and will definitely return and tell my friends in the business about it as well. Thank you for all that you do. I am a loyal customer.

Thank you, Mary! I'm happy to hear that you are enjoying the blog, and we'd love to have your friends visit!
